kerry couldn't have done anything, you're right...because there was already 4 years of Bush pooh to clean up.
And seriously, the idea of the taliban, who dress in my old bedsheets, shoot guns that were made in the 70's, rub two sticks together for heat, and sleep on hay in a cave....the idea of them taking over our country is the most absurd thing i've ever heard. How would they get here? Do they have any planes to fly over here? Do they have any ships to sail over here? HAHA... You & Bush would get along well

people like to blame him for unimaginable stuff though like gas prices, inflation, the economy and it just seems absurd to me...and democrats have been running the government since 04 btw...

i just don't like people who think that the president has the most power in the world when they have very little...people can veto everything they want to do...and i think being safe for 8 years is pretty good considering what clinton set him up for...

The President has a tremendous impact on the economy when you consider he has the power to veto whatever Congresses passes through to him. This includes anything that requires government funding, tax policy, etc etc.
I'm not saying Bush is to blame for the economy but he certainly played his part in expanding our national debt. You make it seem like he sat on his *** helplessly for 8 years because he had no power when in reality he had more power than anyone in the country.
