Best Patrick Roy card in existense?
Back when Upper Deck cleared out the vault and my dad owned his card distibution business, he bought a Patrick Roy OPC rookie blank back Test Proof. It cost him about 10 thousand at the time. I'm just curious if there's a better card of his in existense. He passed it down to me about a year ago, I know it's real because it came from the UD vault.
Here's a scan:

The thing is, it's a 1/1 rookie basically, and they can't make any more of them. They can continue to make logo shields.

Hmm, short of something truly awesome out of The Cup or Bleu, Blanc, et Rouge, that'd be pretty tough to top.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Are there really cards in Bleu Blanc et Rouge that can beat it?

Hate to break the news but there is more than one Roy Blank Back Test Proof
floating around out there. They did not come from the UD vault they came from the Topps Vault and there were several. There's at least 3 of the full color card with blank back (when they auction them they usually provide details on the origin whether it was a proof for certain employees to check or whether it was used for image stock etc) and there's also at least one for each color of printing (yellow, black, cyan, and magenta) and that's just what Topps has sold off, there's no saying there isn't more out there.

I have 2 of them, also sold a PSA 9 Roy Blank Back, I also have 2 Mario Lemieux OPC Blank Backs from 86/87 OPC, both graded, UD did not buy OPC, Topps in the US and OPC in Canada.

I have seen more than 100 Patrick Roy O-Pee-Chee blank back cards over the past decade. So we certainly speak about a total production of few thousands of copies. Outside the ones graded in gem mint condition, they do not sell for big coins (because they aren't called RCs due to blank back).

These are test proof, not just blank back.
