I think it could happen, but I personally see Cleveland getting Villanueva instead.

If Shaq helps Lebron win a ring they will definitely say it was Shaq that had won it. Think about it Kobe and Shaq, DWayde and Shaq and (maybe) Lebron and Shaq. Suns would probably let go all the players they get for salary space.

Duncan, Kobe are tied with Shaq as active players having four rings. I know Shaq does not want either of them to have more rings than him.

Shaq + Cavaliers = Lakers repeat.

Shaq will flop against Dwight and then if they make it to the finals, Kobe will be even more driven to go off for 81 ppg during the finals.

    (Obviously some sarcasm in there)

wow lol, if the statement about Cavs not trading Wally and Sasha for SHAQ is true then I'm at a loss for words. It's a win win for Cavs, Shaq has one year left on his contract so they would pick him up for just that one year if need be and at the same time get rid of wallys ridiculous contract. They would be stupid not to make that trade...AGAIN!.

BIG MISTAKE shaq is old and with a 24 yr old lebron james, this duo would last a year, maybe 2 at the most, the only reason i can see this happening is Shaq wanting a final ring to close out his career, but other than that for the long run, bad move for the Cavs, get someone young like Gortat, or try to find a way to get Blake Griffin, but shaq, he's on edge of retirement so i wouldn't go with a trade like that.

    thanks

Does Z have the ability to play power forward? This would be an intereting line-up for the Cavs.

They wouldn't be interested in him for anymore than one year.....his contract is up at the end of 09-10, and the Cavs wouldn't resign him. It wouldn't be a long term move.
