This part stood out.....both are EXTREMELY GOOD IDEAS. The card with a program would be a very good way to try and bring new people in, and having country music autos (kind of like how Allen & Ginter, Topps Mayo, etc. have non-football/baseball autos) would be a very good idea, in my opinion. If you tell me I have a chance at pulling a Kenny Chesney autograph out of a pack of racing cards, I'd buy more than I already do!

I LIKE the idea of the card in the program. They do the diecast but I think the card would be better received.
So many of them could be signed also. You wouldnt know what you had until you opened the program.
Well I hope all of this helps because racing is the minority and we need to promote it

Apology to board, forum & members
I would like to apologize to all for my misunderstanding of the origional post. I mistook it to mean racing folks that only come in occasionally not to meaning about folks from other boards and sites doing so. But I would also fall into the catagory of being one to "flip it" should I win a contest for a card not Sr or Jr. But would use that to get me a Jr or Sr. It is just how I do things. But I do not enter contests for non racing items just to do that. Last contest I did enter was only for CC's anyway, I would of way rather had the card of Sr auto 5/10 think it was. But I have noticed other sport folks entering these contests and guess that bothers me a bit as well. I do not guess you can limit it to only racing folks but sure would be nice.
Also, I worded the nonsense posts wrong and did not mean to call anyone stupid for posting. It is just sometimes I see the same person (no one in particular comes to mind) but they say wtg several times in one post or just continue to post on same subject several times saying basically the same thing is what I meant. I read alot more posts then I ever comment on (just know I am glad or jealous of your good pulls always)
I am happy for all who get good pulls and mail days. I usually say so in my case break posts (as I do not post much otherwise) but did not this last time as I had troubles posting and it would not put the pics on and I just gave up.
WTG on all of your great pulls & mail days to all!
To the main subject of this for suggestions, alot of good ones were given and hope some of them will be implimented. There were also alot of good points given concerning this is not only a racing board and guess that is why it does not seem so personal & user friendly like the former racing boards I used to belong to.
I know somewhere on a forum (think it was SCS) there were buttons that you could use to say wtg or thumbs up or boo (not remember all) to comment on a subject post without it being a post but it put it below the post and said who left it. That might be something to consider to keep the posts to a minumum but still be showing your presense and feelings.
Not being a puter geek, but isn't that where the cost comes in to run a site, the # of posts? Bandwidth? Something like that?
Thanks for the ear and once again very sorry to anyone who thought I was offened by them and anyone I offened.

i like this site for racing but Nuts for some reason you sell & trade more over there and i have had guys over there send me free cards all the time like carpentier AU,GU,# .. I get free cards here but most of the time Base or Inserts' they have Dutch auctions over there i know you can't have them here because of the rules but i have sure got some nice cards from those.. Les i like the Box deals you have and i like the Contest that all the mods have on here..engima packs sales are #1 in my books here on the racing forum as i can,t get racing up here..
everday i go to both sites to check to see the forums

Dont change a thing your doing Laurie. We all misunderstand from time to time, but i dont think anyone should be mad at the way you do your collecting and sales. I would much rather you pull the cards and sell them and if you know the buyer perhaps work with them on a paticular card so they can add it to thier collection. VS someone we dont know pull the cards and not work with someone. So dont change a thing you are an asset to the hobby and boards!!!

I don't post much on here either but I have a few comments on the subject. The idea of the cards with the programs at the tracks is an awesome idea. If anyone is going to a particular track, maybe they could pick up a program with that card in it or you could trade one program for another from a different track or whatever. I love the programs, get on everytime I go to a race. I have traded with almost everyone in the racing community here and have had a blast. I know some people on here personnally. I have hung out with, went to card shows, card shops, etc. I really enjoy this. I have only been collecting for a 3 years and have done trading/buying/selling on this site and have delt with a selling/buying site (don't know about the rules about posting names so I won't). Some of the same people on the buying/selling site to be exact. I also like the general discusion part. Would help put a name with a personallity or face. Well just wanted to give my two cents. I was wondering why I didn't see some of the familiar faces I have come to know on here.
Well I hope that they do come back since we always have had great trades.

Howdy all, no matter what you collect, this is THE ONLY place i trade online but do occassionally check the "racing board" when updating my opg, i do 90% Nascar & 10% FB, but dont go to the FB forum unless i have something to trade & then its usually CMB !! ,,l,.

My sig says whom i collect & if you go to my FB traders it has a few others i collect since i cant fit them in sig. tho i am trading my FB for Gordon or Payton mainly they are in the sig.
I prob. have a few "infractions" here but hey... life goes on.
I would HATE to be banned & have to go to that "other place" to trade.. & im not bashing im stating a fact.
I would prob quit trading online & just get what i could from Tom, my dealer.
I dont get in on box breaks cause the shipping added to it, & i know u cant send it free, equals about the price i pay at Toms, when i do have xtra to spend, geeez sure hope mentioning him isnt getting me into more chit...
I just dont enter the contests...
I just LOOOOOVE those box breakers that open them & say u can see the good cards at the "place"... ,,l,. the "place"
I am soooooo agreeable to trading for & giving my xtra $$ to 99% of those that trade here whether Nascar or FB
In fact a racing trader here made a trade to get me a Payton to trade to me for a card i had that he wanted, THANKS !!!!!! dude
JKC... that dude gives xtra every time when he trades...
As far as that person said about driving & not wanting to watch racing, i drove 18 wheeler during the week & watched racing on the weekend & know of MAAAANY drivers that are fans & watch when home or if time permits, tho nowadays they have sattelite hookups in bigrigs...
My only complaint here is sig size, maybe a little xtra text wouldnt hurt
Thanks to all & im hoping to get to 300 trades here & then who knows what...

alot of inactive members do have lives away from the computer, i for one look in from time to time , but i cannot afford to spend every minute of the day on here. I would love to but to single the not so active members out is wrong. i work 40 hours a week have kids in sports and if i pop in from time to time and just so happen to able to take part in it, so what. if that is the case, have the members pay the membership fee, and see how many would be left on here. We have a small group as it is.
in response to pa43fan
i wasn't going to post this but i decided i would.
instead of looking at the two sites as seperate and rivals, why can't we just look at them as different. we are all a small community and are generally close, whether here or there.
we also have many people there mike that just jump in on give aways, alot if very inactive members do this and ****ed if they aren't the ones that win.
