With Lamar deciding what he's going to do tomorrow, one cannot help but have mix feelings about the whole situation.

However, I still feel that Lamar wants to be a Laker and that he will remain as a Laker, but at the same time, I'm at a point where I'm anticipating the worst.

One must remember though, the game is full of adjustments. Some analyst may write the Lakers off for not having one player. But teams adjust all the time when a player gets traded. Teams like the Lakers adjust when players like Bynum go down. The Lakers WILL adjust if Lamar is not there in training camp. So I'm not worried about the Lakers repeating next year, with or without Lamar.

Jeebus dont worrying about it too much, just wait til tomorrow. if he walks oh well, it's only basketball and we have a great team for next year still.

I want Odom to stay obviously, but if he leaves he is making the wrong decision. It the simple case of another stupid agent who messes everything up, Ariza Im looking your way.

Miami can say all they want about home games in FL being tax free and a few road games too, but the simple fact is that after everything is broken down number wise, Odom will still make more money playing for the Lakers after taxes are accounted for. I hope Odom decides tomorrow and makes the right decision. If not, I see the Lakers going after Joe Smith or Matt Barnes.

I don't want Joe Smith on my team, he's garbage.

But Matt Barnes would be great, he went to UCLA and he was great on the Suns

I honestly think we'll be fine with just Josh Powell filling in the role of Lamar. He played great when Drew was out. With more minutes, he could be very productive.

But, if the Lakers do want to sign somebody at the veterans minimum, I'll personally pick Joe Smith, his versatility is similar to Lamar. Plus, we would need another big men and not another guard/small forward.

you know this whole subject about Lamar wanting more $ to me is Garbage.....This guy has no right to demand more $ he only has 1 Title to his belt in all the years he's been in the league, i don't want to hear about how bad the other teams hes been on were yada yada yada!!! the fact of the matter remains that this guy has become money hungry and i really hope no one sign's him, this game has gone from The Love of the game to the love of the money no one play's for the game anymore they play for the Paycheck and will even live without playing a season because they didnt get what they wanted and that just proves my point, Now of course this also goes for Kobe Bryant, his 133+ mil to me is ridiculous and before the people come in to his defense....Yes he's a great player well Proven for what he's earned etc im not taking anything away from him but if the point of the NBA is to win Titles for your Organization/City/Self then you would think he would accept a lower amount to gain Cap in order to attain a unbeatable Roster....Just like the Yankee's did it for baseball people took smaller contracts/money in order to win what they were after the "Pennant" so in My eye's people should be happy with what they were offered unless they want to work a 9-5 like all of us and make an average living???

If you're going to bring Kobe into the mix you might as well bring in everyone else in the league that's earning 20mill+ a year. Kobe shouldn't take a paycut at all, the guy imo is the best player in the league and deserves every penny he gets. As for Lamar, the guy was making 14mill last season and is asking for 9-10, maybe less, to stay with L.A. for 5 years...I don't even think it's really about the money, I think it's more about the years, I mean if the Lakers offer Lamar 5 years/40 mill he would jump on it. Either way the guy is worth the money, if he decides to leave, which he won't, he would be very hard to replace. But no need to sweat guys, Lamar is staying a Laker, I GUARANTEE it...you can quote me on this lol. btw, what's up with Dwyane Wade and his "come back home" plea? the guy was there for ONE season! give me a break man! the guys has been in L.A. for his entire career except for that one year in Miami. If it comes down to the Heat or the Lakers it's an absolute no brainer to me...Welcome Back Lamar!

Your crazy. Joe Smith is a beast. If he were younger, he would be one of the better power forwards in the league. He can play defense, he can hit threes, he can finish at the rim, what else do you want?
