There has been an update on the BSO report:
*UPDATE*
Once again sources close to Lamar Odom are insisting a deal is done and is just waiting for Dr. Buss to sign off on it.
There has been reports there is no deal on the table and there are no neogiations ongoing.
But there was in fact a 3 year deal worth 30 million that was turned down Odom recently.
The only hold up is will Dr. Buss sign off on 4 year deal or will Odom accept 3 year deal.
We will have to wait and see how it all shakes out, but I would be shocked if Lamar Odom is does not resign with the Lakers.

So now there are 3-4 different sources whose credibility are at stake if this deal doesn't go through.

I'm not going to believe it. But if it is true, 4 year for 40 million seems like Buss just gave up.

There was no deal, or at least i don't think so..... i really don't know what source to believe anymore.....
Just wait for espn to report something.... every other source is contradicting themselves......... Heck I don't think even Lamar knows what he's gonna do.

So I think the LATimes should be a pretty reliable source...Anyways, they say that the Lakers and Lamar have resumed talks, and things are looking "productive"

With the way this story has unfolded, I'm just waiting to hear tomorrow that Lamar has signed with the Heat, lol!

This is what happens when you let your agent make all the decisions for you (i.e. Trevor Ariza and Elton Brand)... things get too complicated. Thank god lamar came to his senses and realized that his agent was an idiot and made that much needed phone call to Jerry Buss to resume talks. I think we should have confirmation by tomorrow that Lamar Odom has signed with the Lakers and finally end this very prolonged situation.
