Just one of a million other examples of people not taking responsibility for their own actions and expecting everyone else to pay for their mistakes for them.

Using the phrase "pay for their mistakes" is what pretty much makes it a punishment. You're not letting her do something because of a mistake she made. What it boils down to is that she is not the only one who will be paying for her mistakes. We'll all end up paying for her mistake - and that's regardless of whether you have private or government healthcare.

    "pay for their mistakes"

meaning that people should have consequences for their actions. Punishment would mean that someone else is applying the consequences. Thats not true in this case. She can pay for her mistake. Noone is forcing her to have an abortion. There is nothing punitive about it. The Punishment is applied to America for allowing abortion to be covered. Voting for the far left is the action. The consequence is having a far left majority in our government. the punishment is paying for abortions and other people's actions, along with a mountain of other punishments.

Yep lets all be stingy about the $0.00000000000000001 that you would have to spend to pay for all of these abortions. Get a life.

Hundreds-thousands of taxpayer dollars add up...that kind of economic genius is what has given us a $1 trillion deficit in less than a year.

And $0.00000000000000001 for this and $0.00000000000000001 for that and $0.00000000000000001 for the other add up too...to over 40% of my paycheck.

Wouldn't it cost more to provide assistance or house/care for those children put up for adoption?

Is there a reason why you don't mention the guy's responsibility here? You just can't blame a women since it takes two.

IMO its foolish not to use protection or B/C, but I'd rather have the mistake taken care of than a child who burdens the system or has a terrible home life.

Sure, the dude sucks, too. But it's the liberals who push the "right of the woman to choose" so I thought you'd be cool with it. If the guy wants the baby, but the girl doesn't, guess what happens?

Is this really about the money? Do you think a girl wanting an abortion (free of charge) is concerned with the well-being of society...ooooor the well-being of herself?

In this case aren't they the same if an abortion is the cheaper route?

I was refering to the act of making since both are responsible for protection.
