I really like him too...he's a defensive monster, and does have flashes of offensive brilliance...I hope that those flashes turn into consistency.

Me too man, but until then he will be a Trenton Hassell type of a player... (back when we had him)

He's better than Hassell IMO, but I think I know what you are meaning...has potential to be great (and Brewer has the potential to be explosive), but he only shows it once in a blue moon.

You know what I'd like for Christmas? NO MAJOR roster changes next year.
This year we shipped out my fave guy in Craig Smith and Bassy didn't spend much time with us to get many Twolves cards either... it would have been nice to have a few more Twolves cards to collect of Steph's cuz!
If we trade Flynn any time soon I'mma boycott!
NO trading of Flynn Jefferson or Love ty very much Twolves.

We're not getting rid of Love. I would highly doubt we get rid of Flynn, but I wouldn't mind seeing Jefferson gone and getting a priority free agent next year. It looks like our team is going to be a more fast paced team than a post-presense team in the near future so maybe Love and another mediocre big man is all that we need?
I guess I'm not big on Al Jefferson

Wolves need a Joe Johnson-type player...add him with Flynn at the 1, Big Al at the 5, Love at the 4, and Gomes at the 3...we'd have 2 double-double machines, a pure scorer, and a scorer/assister...then Gomes, who can light it up on any given night. Look at what Joe Johnson did for the Hawks...they were a 13 win team 4 or 5 years ago...now they are among the best in the east...he was the veteran added onto a young Hawks roster...sound familiar? We get a proven vet and I think we'll be back in contention within a year or two.

Yeah but imagine the money we have to throw at a big name to make him even consider us? I lvoe KG but his salary over the years hamstrung us because we had to pay him so much to keep him in Minnesota and had to trade Marbury cos he was moaning about not getting similar money.... says more about Marbury than the organisation... but that was a duo we could have built around!

We do have ~$14 million to spend this summer...and if LBJ, Wade, Bosh are going to get ~$22 million, I think we could get a Joe Johnson type for around $14 million. But yeah, KG and Marbury would've been a nice duo...add in Szczerbiak, and we probably could've won a title prior to the 04 season when we reached the WCF.
That Joe Smith fiasco also cost us...signing him illegally made us lose 3 first-round picks

Oh for sure and I don't think Smith ever really lived up or played to his draft standing, at least not anytime onwards from playing with us. It was a really stupid move.
I still have these day dreams of what it would have been like if ISaiah had of had a good attitude and we had been able to keep him, KG and if Marbury hadn't of had an inferiority complex...
of if we had just kept ray allen instead of trading his rights away for Marbury...
I really don't think there has ever been a more mismanaged franchise in the history of Basketball.

Have we locked Jefferson away in a long term deal? He isn't a free agent at the end of this year is he? My memory is vague on that and the only thing I have to go on is his contract in NBA 2k10 LOL If he isn't already locked away, I worry about what money we will have to get a mid range quality free agent.
