Are you guys totally forgetting about Rubio? Isn't there a chance he has at coming to the team next year?

Where do you fit Rubio in with Flynn?? Really dont wanna start two point guards and I think we'd probably just trade rubio and he go on to be the next steve nash or something. Because that's what we do.

That's what I meant about a fastbreak offense... I think it could work, but we probably won't pursue it.

Rubio won't be stateside until 2011 at least, thanks to his new contract...no buyouts allowed for 2 years...so, 2011-12 season would be his first year in the NBA, if he decides to come over...

He did state he will be playing for Minnesota in the future didn't he? I swear I heard that; I could be mistaken.

He also said that he wasn't going to resign with DKV Joventut so he could come over here...and what happened? So, I don't believe a word he says until he actually puts the pen on the dotted line.

No buyouts mean squat if the team agrees to release him and with enough pressure/money they would.
I think drafting Rubio was a stupid move. He will never play a game for Minnesota. Bookmark it!
(Psst I hope by tempting fate with a Bookmark it statement, that I'll be wrong - although by publicly stating this I may in fact ensure I am correct - in which case either way I win HA.)

Personally, I think we are better off trading his rights now and getting something for him...we have a great young PG in Flynn, and Sessions too, so we should try and add a good center so Big Al can move back to PF and Love can be a spark off the bench, or start at SF and improve his 3-point shooting. But, either way, I think we should trade him sooner rather than later, so we at least get something out of the 5th pick.

Isn't this upcoming draft also considered one of the deepest drafts in NBA history?
If that is true then that Ty Lawson deal might look much better.

I don't know...I don't follow college hoops as much as I'd like to...I know of John Wall...past that, I'm stumped unless I can utilize Google...lol
