"Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism." - Kenny Powers

The fact we are in the United States. Do you think you would be held in high esteem at your beautiful home in Mexico, China, Korea, or say Iran
. I do not think so!
It is a matter of respect and consideration for those around you.

The U.S. is about freedom and choice, especially on private property. I don't see how a flag position in a person's yard hurts anyone. There are plenty of more disrespectful and tasteless things on TV or we see in person every day than a flag's position.

Many times we are so blind to all what we have gained, and how much we have to lose. Yes the a flag is just a symbol, but ONLY when we lose sight of what it stands for. Yes, the US is about liberty, but you have to consider the sacrifice of everyone that fought for that liberty. The only place I can see another flag at the same height of The US flag in the US is at a foreign embassy.

I agree, and flag position on private property does nothing to weaken what it stands for. What weakens the country is when freedoms or rights are denied.
