Thats because everybody in America gets offended by anything that is said.
If it was an accepted practice at the time that is the exact point. And I really dont understand why Native Americans today would still be upset about it and get offended by it. Tha fact that my Wifes family doesnt seem to care shows me that Native Americas do not all care about it.
I know for a fact the My family in Ireland had their land forcible removed and moved the America. And my family does not sit around and complain about it.

Wow that has to be the most intelligent statement of the day, Not. How humanitarian of you. Who even cares if the Nazi killed the Jews and Invaded Poland, Only the strong survive. The only difference between both statements is the Nazis didnt have enough fire power to survive long enough.
I never calimed to be a humanitarian, I am a realist.
Well is it ture that Native Americans are not Native Americans and Migrated from some other part of the world.
And is it not true that every civilization has been built by Grabbing land and conquering anybody who got in their way. Look back thousands of years and thats how it always was.

OK Last Statement
Why keep bringing it up that we migrated here? It makes no sense. Did we wipe out 99% of an entire civilizations culture and people? Did we force our devilish pagan views on the christian world? Did we round up up people and put them on reservations or make them leave their homes and move west of the Mississippi River? I guess the person earlier that brought up the Kenniwick Man would beleive so. How dare we wipe out the Atlantian Race. Yea right.
This is about what is morally wrong and me and my people are still upset. Native American stuggles have barely come to a cease within the last century which makes my arguments still relevent.

I keep bringing it up to show you that Native Americans are not that. We all came from common ancestry on the African Continent. Its seems as though you can say the white man tokk the land form you but seem not to understand that the land was not yours orignally.
I dont care if people wave flags I dont care if people moan and groan, But I do care when people constanly complain about how bad this counrty is for stealing the land.
And how illegals should just be welcome with open arms because they dont want to go through the proper channels to get here.
And as I have said in the past it has happened to very country many times over so why worry about it.

I guess we can all be upset about our pasts and moan and complain about it, as I am sure anybody who looks into their family will find some sort of persecution in the past that their family has sufferd. I know my family has, but it is just a matter of how people decide to deal with it, keep complaning or move on and get over it.

I'm just saying we shouldn't pick and choose who gets to be offended. Native American claims are just as valid as those who dislike the flag position.

I am going to make one final post about this matter and leave it at that.
The law concerning the flag was created based on LOYALTY to your country. It isn't about feelings or opinion or rights or heritage. It is about being loyal to the country that you live in. Last time I checked it was still OK to be a patriot.
All of these other reasons for arguing that it is OK are irrelevant because they have nothing to do with the law. Believe it or not, not everything in the country is about feelings and rights, sometimes it is about loving your country and you way of life.
Is the flag a symbol? Yes. Does that diminish it's value? NO. It increases it's value because it is a symbol of freedom and democracy. If that isn't valuable enough to you to show some respect for it then you need to find a new country that doesn't have freedom and democracy and see if they are OK with you flying a flag other than theirs.
