Supposedly it's just pending physicals, ouch for Arizona, nice for Detroit and OK for NYY IMO

Very happy as a Yankees fan here - I also think Det makes out ok. I'm happy for IPK as well, he was never going to succeed in NYC, but I like the kid. Getting Granderson without giving up Joba, Hughes or Mike Dunn... priceless ;-)

It's supposedly done with a slight variation from the original post.

    NYY - Gets Granderson
DET - Gets Scherzer, Austin Jackson, Phil Coke, and Daniel Schlereth
ARI - Gets Edwin Jackson and Ian Kennedy

I still like the deal for the Yankees. I like it even more now for the Tigers now that they get Schlereth. And I still don't understand this from the D'Backs perspective.

first Detroit re-signs Everett, and now we (possibly) trade Grandy? What a sad day for me.

Is Dunn really that special? I hadn't heard much about him but he seems like his ceiling is Phil Coke to me, I may be out of the loop on that though

I'm a Yankee fan, and I thought his inclusion was negligible to the overall trade.

WOW! Does Dombrowski realize he just traded everybodys favorite tiger????
Pitching isnt what killed the Tigers last year it was OFFENSE
Edwin Jackson had a handfull of 2-0 or 1-0 losses His record defintley didnt epict the kind of pitcher he is

So next year we will have a bunch of boring games because our pitching dominated but our bats are cold

He was my favorite. I just hope that he can get a ring in NY next season.
