I have IMAX tickets for sunday morning........ only this because every other show friday/saturday is sold out! lol
it's gonna be epic, one of james cameron's best. it will have as much success as Terminator. I wish i could say the same for Titanic but even Dark Knight couldnt beat that.

I saw this at the IMAX in 3D. I would say the movie was decent. It was not great but it was worth watching. Some very cool special effects.

I'm going to see it tonight! I'm pumped.. I also hate listening to movie reviews too, they're always by some bias source. I'll be the judge if I like it, not some predetermined schmo that doesn't have the same taste as I do. James Cameron flicks are great.

great movie visually and pretty good, but transparent, story line. The movie definately spends a lot of energy letting you know james cameron's political opinions.

That was honestly one of the best movies I've ever seen, EVER. Just magnificent. A+...

I don't know how the story line was transparent, it was very clear to me. They put him in there because he was the only replacement for his dead brother (a scientific genius), I'm assuming that's what you thought was transparent. I guess I don't know though; also there was definitely a political message there, but you can choose to make it ruin the movie for you or you can choose to ignore it. I mean come on didn't they call the metal "unattainium"? Pretty lame, but I ignored it...

Still in awe of that movie, I loved Slumdog Millionaire and Benjamin Button last year a couple others too, but to me this was 10,000 times as good.

transparent as in you could predict the story and outcome of the movie within 10 minutes of it starting

Oh yeah that is very true... Except for a while I couldn't tell if it was going to end good or bad, otherwise you're right almost every little tidbit was predictable.

That's very true. There are a lot of things that can ruin a movie if you let it. Expectations are my big thing...If I go in expecting a good movie and it's only average, I usually dislike it. But if I don't have high expectations, I can enjoy an average movie. I have to try to make myself temper my expectations.

I'm glad I know about the political aspect before I watch it...I already know it's there and I can make a point not to let it bother my viewing experience.
