There were probably close to 30 people there. Probably would have been more if it weren't for the frigid weather.

Yeap, the Magics stayed at the Townsend as well, as I believe most visiting NBA teams do. I think they depart for the Palace about 3 hours prior to tip off, so getting there 4 - 4 1/2 hours early should be good.

There's a small roped area close to the entrance of the hotel. The hotel people wants you to stay behind the ropes, but it was pretty much non-existent when Dwight Howard came out, everybody just rushed and crowded around him as he signed. Expect the same for the bigger name players.

No problem. The next signing I'll be attending is the paid signing for hockey HOFer, Red Kelly, this upcoming Thursday at The Goalie's Den store.

During my lunch break from work today, stopped by the Achatz pie store in Sterling Heights,MI where Detroit Lions' kicker, Jason Hanson, was making an appearance to help raise money for the Salvation Army's Disaster Relief Fund in Haiti. Of course, made a donation and got Jason to sign my trading card and 8 x 10 photo, as well as, getting one of the 5 x 7 promo photo he was signing too.
