Decided to drive up to Lansing,MI after work, where WWE wrestlers Evan Bourne and Gail Kim were making an appearance at a MetroPCS store today. Got there about 5 minutes before the signing was to start and waited out in a really long line. Never thought I'd get in, but finally made my way inside the store with 7 minutes left to spare, got Evan and Gail to both sign an 8 x 10 WWE floor print they were handing out. Also got Gail to sign a trading card for me as well.

Graphed the Minnesota Timberwolves at their hotel today. There was only like 6 other graphers there. Got the following as they boarded the bus:

Al Jefferson - 1/1 trading card

Wayne Ellington - 1/1 mini basketball (used a new sharpie, so signature came out barely visible. probably will get it re-signed the next time the 'Wolves are in town)

head coach Kurt Rambis - 1/1 trading card

Heard assistant coach Bill Laimbeer left earlier prior to the bus pulling up, in a SUV. Damien Wilkins, Brian Cardinal, and Ryan Gomes didn't take the bus, but got a ride in a rental. Ryan signed, but that's when I just arrived there, so missed out on him. Could have probably gotten assistant coach Reggie Theus while he was unloading his luggage onto the side storage of the bus if I called him over, but was getting Wayne to sign at the same time. Kevin Love, Corey Brewer, Jonny Flynn (with his headphones on), and everybody else just ignored autograph requests.

Corey Brewer and Jonny Flynn kind of surprise me since I heard they are both good signers in-person. Yeah, it did suck to get Wayne to sign with a new black sharpie I just bought the other day, only to have the sharpie not write well on the mini basketball. I should of brought my silver paint pen or used the blue sharpie I usually get everybody to sign with. I'll be graphing the Bucks next, to get Jennings or whomever I could get that signs.

Cool. I've already got tickets to attend that game as well. Probably won't be graphing the Bulls at the hotel, but will graph them at pregame shoot around and maybe after the game at the Palace.

Either the team bus parks outside or if it's inside, perhaps find a way into the loading dock. Not sure, haven't graphed postgame at the Palace yet.

Decided to graph the Milwaukee Bucks at their hotel after work today. There were only 8 other graphers there. Surely glad I did because it turn out to be a great day with them. Got the following players to sign as they board the bus headed for the Palace before the game:

Luc Richard Mbah a Moute - 1/1 index card (got him to sign as he was casually walking back to the hotel coming back from someplace)

Luke Ridnour - 1/1 trading card

assistant coach Adrian Griffin - 1/1 trading card (got him to sign as he came back to the hotel from Starbucks. he also hooked me up with a couple of tickets and postgame passes for the game)

assistant coach Joe Wolf - 1/1 trading card (I accidentally smeared it a little bit)

BRANDON JENNINGS - 1/1 mini basketball (was totally shocked as I heard he ignored requests going to and coming back from morning shoot around earlier in the day. plus he wasn't in a rush to get on the bus too, didn't talk much, but took his time and even signed multiples for the other graphers. something about the weather being sunny and close to 40 degrees today probably had something to do with him being in a really good mood. a small crowd helped too.)

Andrew Bogut - 1/1 trading card

Dan Gadzuric - 1/1 trading card

Charlie Bell - 1/1 index card (got him as he was coming back to the hotel as well)

Carlos Delfino - 1/1 trading card

Ersan Llyasova probably would have signed, but nobody needed him. Kurt Thomas snuck onto the bus while Brandon was signing. Jerry Stackhouse, John Salmons, and head coach Scott Skiles ignored all requests.

Used the ticket, assistant coach Griffin hooked me up with, and attended the game. Afterwards, used the postgame passes to access the area where some of the Bucks players would come out to greet family members, friends, and fans. Charlie Bell, Kurt Thomas, Jerry Stackhouse, and Carlos Delfino were the players that came out and interacted with those in that section. Didn't need Bell nor Delfino, so got Thomas and Stack to sign a trading card each. Overall, awesome experience with the Bucks. Big ups to Adrian Griffin for the tickets. I gotta buy him a beer the next time they're in town for his kind gesture!
