Back when I ran cross country for school I think I could do it in just under 7 minutes. I havent ran for years though so it'd probably take me forever now!

The last time I was timed was my senior year of high school (2004) during soccer conditioning. I ran it in 6:06 consistently.

I haven't ran the mile since 10th grade, and back then I usually got somewhere between 8-9 min. And that was about 8 years ago lol. I am so out of shape, I'd guess 15 minutes.

I haven't been running in a few years but I used to run a mile in 7-8 minutes. I'm probably a little slower now.
In high school I was closer to 10-11 minutes.

I was the tallest kid in school, no where near a heavyweight, but the last time I was timed in the mile (senior year of HS, 5 1/2 years ago) I ran it in 6:26. Nowadays? I haven't ran in a long time but I could probably still run it in 7-8 minutes.

If i had to take a guess ...
1st quarter mile - 4 minutes
1st smoke break - 7 minutes
2nd quarter mile - 4 minutes
2nd smoke break - 7 minutes
3rd quarter mile - 4 minutes
3rd smoke break - 7 minutes
4th quarter mile - 4 minutes
4th smoke break - 7 minutes
so about 44-45 minutes ...
At least I'm consitant, notice it never takes me longer than 7 minutes to smoke a ciggy!!!

Back in high school, I ran track and was able to do the mile in around 4:45. But because of issues with shin splints, my times got worse throughout my track years and dropped to around 5:30. What was bad was when they would occur during meets and I'd end up with times closer to 7 minutes.
Haven't timed myself in the mile in quite a while, so have no clue what it is now...

Last time I got timed for the mile was 2 years ago and I got it somwhere around 9 minutes. I want to say it was like 9:15. I absolutly hate long distance running.
