I consider a mile a good distance. When you are a good short distance runner with good acceleration but not good endurance, 1 mile is pretty long haha.

Well in high school I could run a mile in about 7:30 (when I tried) while i was playing football
Last year I worked out to get in shape for the Wildland Firefighter Test and in my First try I ran (well walked 2 miles and jogged 1 mile with 45 pounds on my back) in 42:00 (needed to be under 45).

Best time ever was 5:33, of course, that was before I hurt my leg and ate my depression away.
