Personally, I can't see the Suns trading Shaq to Cleveland.
This would obviously make the Cavs stronger and I think could propel them to a championship next season, so it would be a good move for them. But why would Phoenix, who still wants to win a title, give away a big man (remember how KG and Gasol have helped their new teams win titles?) to a contending team? I think the Suns could get something better in return than Pavlovic and/or Ben Wallace (past his prime).

Isn't Staoudemire actually a center? They are probably having to choose between Shaq or Amare, and I'm sure that the Suns would rather keep Stoudemire since he is younger and they can start to build a team around him, plus with the money those two make, and them wanting to have Steve Nash sign an extension, I'm sure it won't be easy to pay all of these salaries. Ben Wallace has thought about retiring, so if he is apart of the deal and does retire, the Suns will save some money, and they can get a role player in Pavlovic. It certainly isn't a bad trade.

From this report the Suns would want to get West in the deal, and if not they have a list of other teams that want shaq would Cavs fans want the trade if they had to add west?

There is no way Delonte leaves, we don't want him to leave and Ferry has said before that West is nearly untouchable.

Delonte is overrated in my opinion, i'd trade him for Shaq anyday, and since when did a GM listen to the fans?

I'm a Suns fan...I don't want to see Shaq leave yet.
Someone said it earlier and I found it interesting(and never really thought about it): Shaq helped Kobe win his first title, Dwade win his first, and if this deal goes through he could help Lebron win his first. That would only solidify his mark on this game.

What i was looking at is LONG TERM shaq is gone in a year or 2 so if the cavs want to be a great franchise and win many championships they need LONG TERM help not just a season here or there, that's the goals of all teams is long term success, with championships.
thanks

However Gortat is not a long term "investment" he is a good backup, but he has no offensive skill and thats what the Cavs need, a Center with skill...Also Blake Griffin couldnt be the Center of the Cavs, LeBron is probably overall bigger if not just as big as Griffin, and the Cavs wouldnt be able to move that far up the draft probably, from one of the last spots to the first?

They are thinking long term...if they win a Championship, Lebron stays.

He doesn't listen to the fans, if he did then we would have traded Wally for a bag of Doritos before the deadline. All I'm saying is the fans love Delonte, Danny Ferry loves Delonte, and it wouldn't make sense trade him for Shaq. Sure...we would get a big man that we need, but we wouldn't have a SG then.
