Lamar Odom leaning towards the heat: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slu...2509&prov=yhoo
I swear, if LO jumps ship, not only will he be an idiot, but he will be the most hated former Laker EVER!!!

Agree with this.
Heat fans must be happy with this, hopefully it will convince D Wade to signing his extension.

LO and Wade didn't win a championship together before and they won't win one now, especially with Cavs, Celtics and Magic

Agreed.
This is getting old already, right now I'm to the point where I don't even care where he ends up anymore.

The Lakers should try and go after Hakim Warrick if you could afford him: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/player...?playerId=2794

If we don't sign Odom, Hakim would be a decent replacement.

Hey guys, just read this on thelakersnation.com from someone who posted there, seems like if Odom does decide to leave we can't sign anyone else unless it's for the veterans salary which is about $1 million. We have Odom's Bird Rights which means that even though we are well over the cap we can still sign Odom for whatever amount we want but we can only offer any other player only the veterans salary.
It gets deeper, since we're also in the luxury tax now, we have to match dollar for dollar for Odom's contract, so that 10million a year is really more like 20 million from what I understood.
we're pretty much f'd either way lol.
