I know collecting can get crazy, but the price is just ridiculous for a piece of cardboard, rare or not. Think of the experiences you could have for $5k-$10k. Trips oversees, rent for an apartment, college funds, etc.. I just can't imagine having that expendable cash.

In all likelihood, the folks bidding on this card aren't too concerned about making rent, and likely do the travel thing already. LOL

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

There are super wealthy collectors out there that can afford to bust oh say 90 cases of 09/10 The Cup so yeah I think they already have a $1 million + houses, multiple high end cards, and can travel at will anywhere in the world. $10,000-20,000 is nothing to them. A lot to almost everyone else though.

I would want that put in a bullet-proof slab and delivered by Santa himself.
