You could do something like
1. Austin Jackson CF
2. Andy Dirks LF
3. Jhonny Peralta SS
4. Miguel Cabrera 1B
5. Victor Martinez DH
6. Brennan Boesch RF
7. Alex Avila C
8. Scott Sizemore 2B
9. Brandon Inge 3B
Thats just my opinion, i'd rather have Miggy hit 3rd, but Leyland will never do that, so no sense in putting him there..If the bottom 2 guys arent gonna hit, might as well put them at the bottom..So when they do get hits, it turns over to the top of the lineup to have the chance to drive them in.
I was willing to live and die with Porcello. It was simple, if he lets a runner on base, pull him then..84 pitches..that shows the Pirates had no idea how to hit him. He was throwing a 1 hitter! If he had no hits given up, you know Leyland would've left him out there, whats the difference between 1 hit though? Was there really a difference?Hidden Content

Phil Coke left the game due to injury after 3 1/3rds innings..Charlie Furbush about to make his MLB debut.
If Coke hits the DL, Andy Oliver most likely gets called up

Great Tigers win! Things looked bad to start, Coke hurt his ankle, and may have to go to the DL, but Charlie Furbush in his major league debut came out of the pen to give the team 3 2/3rds scoreless innings, and gets his first win!
Benoit came in for the 8th and kept things intact, Dirks got his first career home run and in the bottom of the 8th the Tigers offense busted out and put up 4 in the 8th, 2 RBIs for VMart and 2 for Peralta!
Valverde made it to close for comfort, but a win is a win!

Wow alot going on in Tiger world Dan,think they'll keep above water with the injuries and having to call up inexperienced players.

Uhm...I think they'll tread water like they have been..April/May seems to be their toughest months of the season, after this weekend the Tigers are done with Boston, only 3 games vs Tampa, already done with the Yankees, they have only 1 home game left with Toronto, and 4 games at home against Baltimore. So the AL East is about finished with.
Still 16 games against the Twins, 15 against Chicago, 15 against Cleveland and 12 against Kansas City.
The inexpierence though I don't see a big deal, these young kids can't be much worse than some of the crap thats come out of the bullpen thus far. I don't think Wilk will really pitch at all though, when Oliver makes his start Saturday, Wilk will be sent down i'd assume.
Oliver looked ok last year and is doing well this year in Toledo, has some command problems it seems though.
I still have my prediction (that'll likely be wrong with my luck) that the Tigers will be in 1st place on June 17th. Schedule indicates its extremely likely.

AWESOME Comeback win tonight! What a crazy game..Tigers commit 4 errors, Verlander has his worst game of the season and still a win!
Miggy went into MVP mode with a big 3 run homer, but Avila's 2nd homer of the night in the 8th was the difference!
Benoit comes in and closes it out in the 9th as well, looks like his mechanics are being fixed, if he can pitch scoreless innings, it helps the bullpen out big time.
Tommorow the Tigers go for the sweep, Penny vs Sonnanstine
