A hard lesson to learn in why to get insurance on these decent dollar online deals we make. I have had the same situation happen, and as much as I knew that the card was in great shape and the damage had to occur after or during shipment, there is not much you can do about it--you're right that Ebay will certainly side with the buyer.

Just gonna have to eat the cost and either try to scam a replacement from the manufacturer or sell it for much less (it is still a jake long auto).

    Good luck.

I did offer a 3 day refund for ANY reason. He failed to contact me in that time frame. Am I still wrong if I ever was?

What seems odd, is if you sent it in the top loader like it was pictured in the ebay auction, the part that he said was damaged in the bottom of the top loader. I have seen many many damaged cards but dont ever recall from the bottom of the top loader like that. I think he had buyers remorse paying a 100 bucks for a Jake Long auto.

I do have proof kinda, in the properties of the file I scanned says it was created on May 31st which is the night I created the auction.

Umm, When did the DC say the package was shipped, is it 3 days from the time he receives the card, or the end of the auction.

Wondering, because I always saw the 3 days, as starting when I received a card, not when the auction ends.

All and all, it looks as if this person had a serious case of buyer's remorse

80 hours from the time the package was CONFIRMED Delivered. He admitted right away that the item was not recieved by him and he is showing me pictures that are OUTSIDE of the toploader. I sent that card mint, on my 2 year old daughters soul. Legit.
