Not too sure about that, as it doesn't equal any of them. Contenders were Panini's reply to spa. Titanium is no Ultimate (thank god), and the Cup is ultra highend. To be honest, for this price ($100) Titanium got no competition. Makes me wonder though why we pay the same, or more, for Certified, Limited and Crown Royal. Or almost double for spgu.

Would it have this much? Probably not. Would it still have a lot? Yes. The #d RCs, sick patches, and a ton of SOLID boxes in which people are getting 50% of return on an average box which is insane. The product delivered huge.
As for people complaining about sticker autos: The card is on time, and there are less redemptions.

Exactly, screw the stickers, we all know it either had been 2 more months delayed or had 300% more redemptions in it. I'd rather seen though they'd been hardsigned in Titanium than Contenders, but matter of taste I guess.
"which people are getting 50% of return on an average box which is"
This statement just shows how sick the hobby is today, lol

It's not "sick." It's reality. A lot of people don't bust for profiting reasons, instead to get a pc player, for the fun of it, or heck, even just to see the product. It means you are getting VALUE in your average box. Is it easier to buy a PC card or trade for it? It's way easier to buy it. A lot of people sell or attempt to trade for PC cards, but fact of the matter is not everyone has a card for your PC. Most people sell their cards and use that money on PC cards that they couldn't get via trade. As much as you hate this "sickness" called money return, money has always and will always be the easiest way to "trade" for the cards that people want. End of story. People don't buy boxes that won't give them a decent return on average, which means less cards on the market and more boxes on shelvesLast edited by flopfish; 06-20-2012 at 12:44 PM.

I'm getting a wee bit tired explaining that the average box should not be profitmaking, but on average give back approximately what you pay. There's lots of us who loves, maybe too much, to open boxes, it's the most fun in the whole hobby for me, a thrill, like a kid on christmas. (And if it weren't for boxes I wouldn't have started on certain sets). It's a customer right to ask for a minimum value in return. Those two spgu boxes I bought, practically gave me nothing back and this my spring hobby money took a huge blow. I know I know, it's tabu to say, whatever.

not gonna buy any box, being an habs fan I find the player selection a bit strange.. there's more Gomez/Eller/Gorges cards than Subban in that set.

Eller and Gorges I can understand, and, well, Gomez has been in every product for some reason. I guess he used to play good... although he is only on the Game Worn Gear and Private signings. He just has a ton of parallels.
Surprised there isn't more Subban
Being an OEL fan though, I'm in the same boat. I have one card in the set to go after :/

Yeah its kinda sad how a random box of 160$ gives back in value maybe 30$ or something.. cant see the fun in open stuff like that.. zero value back.

A decent product that has absolutely benefited from the lack of new product in the last few weeks and lack of new product on the horizon. Had some other releases come out as anticipated, this would be lost in the mix.
