I don't think so. They might not of released anything until the end of the day. Plus who would we trade away? Franzen with some prospects and it still probably wouldn't be enough, for Nash at least.

100% not a chance IMO Smith is moved. We have no D depth, and he is our best prospect. If we make a trade it would probably be Franzen, a prospect, and pick for Ryan and I don't think it would be enough.

Very interesting first day of free agency. None of the really big fish were hooked, as teams made pitches and in the meantime shored up their depth players.

I like Montreal's moves from yesterday, and I hope that there's one or two more UFA signings yet to come. Some of the moves indicate that there may be trades forthcoming too.
