Canada Post ALERT!! READ PLEASE
OK, so not sure if CP is responding the USPS and upping their prices as well, but I went in yesterday to ship a regular bubble mailer to the States (usually do letter mail but of course we all know over the last couple weeks they are now cracking down on this), and the problem was, there was no longer a Light Packet option coming up in the computer?!?! no matter what the size, if its not actual letter mail, shes telling me its 7.80$ (small parcel). Can anyone else shed some light on this? I argued black and blue, showed her the panflet with the Light Packet option, then just left with my package to figure this out. Not mailing a card I sold for 7$ + 3$ for 7.80$.
Has anyone from CAN been to the post office since yesterday to ship anything international?

Sounds like your local operator doesn't know what she's doing.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Maybe call or visit a corporate post office, I'm sure they can clear it up. Probably a momentary computer glitch.
