Businesses should not have to provide healthcare. But if they are forced federally to do so, then they can provide whatever the minimum is. If they have problems with certain aspects IE this case and the catholics ect, then go through the courts. Bottom line to me though is they shouldn't have to provide anything to begin with. It's an incentive, not a requirement.
Sounds like something this guy would say:

Obamacare aside, what about other laws that require companies to cover employees or customers while at their place of business? Seems like they now have precedence to get out of other laws if it goes against their religious beliefs. Plus who is to say what a corporation claims to believe in order to get out of these laws? Does it have to be a major religion? Are there going to be people who rule on whether or not a belief is legitimate or not? What about more of the less popular religions like scientology or snake handlers? Do they have any beliefs that would allow them to get out of covering things for their employees that don't deal with obamacare. What if someone just makes up a belief? Can the government rule on what is a valid religious belief? I say no.
You know the only valid religion in this country is conservative right wing christianity don't you?

Since you don't have a problem with the comparison I have nothing further to say on the issue.

What laws would this open up? I'm thinking this Obamacare issue is pretty much on its own. It doesn't help that Obama basically picks and chooses who and what to enforce in this "law" anyways. That should be an issue in itself.

Even if they shouldn't have to provide healthcare aside what about other things they are legally obligated to provide. Workers comp (a form of healthcare)? Maternity leave? Can they now discriminate if it fits their religious views? Seems like a corporation can say anything is against their religious belief to get around paying for something for their employees.

What would workers comp violate? Also, what would maternity leave have to do with religion? It can be unpaid as well correct? I don't see what this would open up personally.
