If people can use religion to discriminate against gays and minorities they can twist it up for anything.

I'm just wondering if this law is what lead to the suit and the "win" by Hobby Lobby.

But it's not about what they can afford. Plus aren't they paying premiums for their health care? Is it totally free? My employer has a health plan but we pay premiums on that. Not sure if it's the same for Hobby Lobby employees. To me this isn't about people wanting something for free. It's about corporations using a religious belief to get a loophole around laws. Whether it's healthcare related is immaterial. Hobby Lobby was granted a loophole of not providing something to an employee that every other companies have to provide. How do you stop any other corporation from doing the same thing within any other realm whether or not it's healthcare or not.

I also have an issue with this as well. I'm not certain that a corporation is an individual. Isn't the point of becoming a company is to protect yourself from legalities to separate yourself from your company? How can you then be seen as an individual? Seems like you're having it both ways. I'm just not sure though.

Didn't see the word "liberal". He could be referring to any group but conservatives.
I'll take those cards.

The simple answer is that no one is forcing you to work at that company. If that is the best you can do, then deal with the contract you agreed to.

People trip me out when they say no one is forcing you to work there. Do you really think if they had a choice that they wouldn't be working somewhere else or better yet sitting on a beach somewhere.

Everyone does have a choice and they opt to work in the best situation they can find.

Yeah, this isn't surprising one bit, in fact I expected it by the way SCOTUS has been ruling as of late....
The winners are corporate America who now have precedence to do many unjust things in the name of "Religious views"...
Regligious people might think this is a victory for them, but they probably fail to see the grand picture....oh well.
I'm just glad I'm not a woman I guess....BTW, does Hobby Lobby take care of men's need such as Viagra and Cialis? Oh yeah they do!
So women....too bad for you, you're jut not as important as Corporations.
