Tim Couch is fine and able to play if Butcher yanks Holcomb again!
If Couch get's in i look for him to have another good game under the lights :)

Kurt Warner versus Tim Couch.
When ABC put the Browns and the Rams on the Monday Night Football schedule many would’ve envisioned a quarterback match up of the former NFL MVP and a former first overall draft choice.
However, things have changed. Both players are scheduled to be on the sideline in backup roles as the two teams meet next Monday night. Warner, who guided the Rams to a win in Super Bowl XXXIV over the Tennessee Titans is now the backup to Mark Bulger. Couch is the backup to Kelly Holcomb.
“A lot has changed, but the only sure thing in this league is change,” Couch said. “Kurt was the MVP of the league and the Super Bowl. Right now, he’s put in a situation like I am and trying to do what’s best for the team.”
Couch replaced Holcomb to start the second half last week against Seattle, but was injured on just his fifth play from scrimmage. With the opportunity, he might’ve earned a shot to start in Monday’s game with St. Louis, but Butch Davis announced Holcomb would remain the starter.
“I was excited to get back out on the field for sure,” Couch said. “It was only for a few plays. I wish it could have been longer, but these things happen. It’s an unfortunate injury.”
Couch is biding his time, hoping for another opportunity before the season ends. Thus far in 2003 in six games, Couch has completed 80-of-125 passes for 762 yards (64 percent) with four touchdowns and four interceptions and a quarterback rating of 78.2.
“I’d really like to play, but it’s Kelly’s job and if I’m called upon to play, I’ll be ready,” he said. “I’d love to play and have the chance to showcase what I can do.
“I want to finish strong on a positive note, whether it’s me or Kelly.”
Couch said the fact the Browns are 4-8 and he’s not playing has made the season very tough.
“Not playing and not winning is a bad combination,” he said. “It’s been tough, but I’ve tried to put the team ahead of how I feel. It’s all about the Browns winning games.”
Couch hopes the Browns can turn things around in the final month.
“We’ve had some tough injuries, but hopefully we can get it turned around in these final four games,” he said. “Hopefully, we can get in a rhythm and finish strong.”
Couch knows he might not be with the Browns next season.
“I want to be here, but probably won’t be if I’m the backup,” he said. “I want to play somewhere.
“Right now, I’m not playing,” he said. “However, I’m young and I feel I have a long career ahead of me.”

GO TIMMY - GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!!!!!!!!!! He doesn't deserve to be treated like crap by an egomaniac of a coach, and playing second string to a backup that can't hack it.This team is f'ed up bad,he deserves to play SOMEWHERE,even if it isn't here. However,I think if he restructured his contract some his chances of staying here would be better. But to be perfectly honest,I wouldn't want him to stay here,he'll be run into the ground with the rest of this team by Butch Davis and Randy Lerner.

While watching MNF last night i really thought the Browns had a chance with Tim Couch in there! What a smuck kelly holcomb is! He threw 2 picks to Aneas Williams on consecutive drives! One for a TD.

WWAHHHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Word on the street is he'll probably start the last three games and to that I say - WHOEVER MADE THIS DECISION GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!! On the horrible side...Courtney Brown just HAD to get injured,man..and he was having a hell of a year too. That really sucked...I'm surprised we played that decent the second half.Kelly should have been playing for the Rams..he seemed to like throwing to the guys in blue and white.Ah well...just have to wait and see how well Tim performs these next three games.
