Pod, The Browns did overlook him but put Portis in a browns uni and let him run with our awful O-Line and he is William Green...lol
The Broncos have a great O-Line and get upfield to make blocks for Portis. The Browns O-Line are on there backs after the QB's first read - No time to look to the #2 WR :(
No QB will put up big numbers with a O-Line like ours and Butch Davis i hear wants to draft a TE in the first round next year !!!!! We need a O-Line and if Butch cant see that he needs to be on a one way ticket out of Cleveland.

*re-reads Dwain's post* HE WANTS TO DRAFT A TE!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT IN THE (*proceeds to post every expletive known to man and some that aren't*) IS WRONG WITH HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So help me God he needs a one way ticket out of this city now,and let him take Bruce Arians with him!!!And while we're at it let's start a chain of command and have Bruce take Kelly with him.Let's make EVERYBODY happy!!!!A TE...I swear this guy must have brains where the sun don't shine and then some.Anyone wanna buy a Butch Davis auto because suddenly I don't want mine anymore. If it isn't claimed in 10 hours I may consider burning it and using the ashes as confetti, lol. If he does that I'll go to training camp with an angry mob ready at will,I swear.Geez oh man....And Pod yes I know the Browns overlooked Portis...who HAVEN'T the Browns overlooked because of sheer idiocy? If I didn't abhor the thought of alcohol I would consider becoming an alcoholic because of this team....
*watches something flash across the bottom of the TV screen* wait a minute that just made my day..."A winter storm warning is in effect for all of Northeast Ohio until Sunday Night"...there is a God *cries happily* LOL.

I hope the browns lose the next 2 games so we can get a good draft pick unless BUTCH gets a TE.

I would agree.
take the Clippers (a different sport, I know)...they have been at the lottery stand every year for almost the past 20 years, and what do they have to show for it?
NOTHING!
Look at the 49ers...despite winning year after year, they managed to grab excellent players, without needing the top 10 picks
Jerry Rice was drafted 14th pick 1st round
Joe Montana 3rd round
Tom Rathman - tremendous FB - 2nd round
etc etc
I'd have to agree with Sarah -- win!! It helps you out going into next year.

geez some people think just because the season is lost they don't need to show up for the games anymore and can just play like crap.Take up a different sport or something....just because they're having a bad year doesn't mean they have the excuse to humiliate themselves the last two games.I would never WANT my team to lose on purpose just so they could get a high draft pick that Butch Davis would "F" up anyway, because lets face it,we all know he would.

having a winning streak to end the season helps you out going into next season.
that's why the Seahawks go out to such a hot start earlier this year (they ended last year with a couple of great wins)
and yep, if you don't wanna play hard all the time, go play checkers
