Tom,
I'm hearing they are treating this as just a break-in/robbery. However the phone line was cut and also his house was broken into before not to long ago.

from some reports i heard, him and his gf were asleep, woke up to noise of someone breaking in, she went and hid in the room and he grabbed a knife and was heading to his door to go search his house, when he opened it the intruder was about to enter his room and shot twice and fled. like i said this is just what ive heard from another site.

I don't know if it's premature, but I can't find anywhere confirming the death of Sean Taylor. I certainly hope it isn't true. I went to the NFL website, the Washington Redskins website and CNN. Nothing reflected the news.
Like I said, maybe it just hasn't been posted on the internet yet. If there's a website where I can confirm this, I would be interested in reading it.
I even have his rookie card at home. I seriously doubt I'll sell it. I'm not one of those who tries to profit from a tragedy.

Very sad, a true loss for the Redskins and NFL. A senseless act by the intruder. My prayers are with him, his family and friends.
