Yes, he's a superstar. Not at the same level as LBJ, Kobe, KG or CP3, but he is in the "lesser class" of superstars (if there is even such a thing).

I do understand he is an amazing player. Im actually a pretty big fan of his as I love his post up jump shots too much lol
But I still think he is not the "superstar". The team blossomed this year thanks to Billups.
Tmac has Yao and good players around him but they never got out of the 1st round.
Yes I do understand injuries and all, but imo Tmac should blame on his conditioning during the season and off season for his injury instead of blaming them as accidents.
Look at Jordan, Duncan, KG and Kobe, they all managed to play almost every full seasons without injuries and established themselves as superstars.
Back to Melo, He sure is a star and a good player, but not a superstar imo.
He just never showed too much on playoffs to establish himself as the superstar just yet.
Its just an opinion though...
And Dan, I actually dont know whether Cavs will be good in the West lol
They might still be able to compete and they might not.
And for that trade, stay away from immature people on this site :)

i def think that Melo is a superstar...his stats prove that...just b/c they arent winning championships with him is b/c they dont got people that can lead them there...just like the Cavs havent (no bash at you nadeau01) for a while....but hopefully JR and Chauncey will be able to help out

I believe melo is becomig a superstar since he is starting to do the intangable things in his game. I would not rank him as an all-time great yet. Kobe, and KG are one of the top 50. LBJ, D howard, and CP3 will be in the discussion if their careers continue on their current course.

IMO, you have to be on course to be consider an all-time great to get the superstar status. Melo is a star and will be a superstar if he continues what he is doing this year. By the way, I voted for him as a superstar because I am being to think of him that way. Just not totally there yet.

i think people forgot how he got jerked out of rookie of the year him and lebron had similar stats but melo team went to the playoffs because of him in the west ..and they kept playing good ..when he was first in the league in scoring they were red hot and they got iverson the team got worse ..on offense ny- cus i love iverson ..but i think iverson has to be in a team where he is number one ...he did lead the 6ers to the finals almost all by himself ...so its no disrespect to him ...

I voted no.
It doesn't mean Melo is only stat-making player.
Rather Melo is one of Great.
But abilitiy and talent is not always for Superstar.
It is base.
Superstar needs more something than talent and ablitiy like SHAQ.
(I don't like SHAQ though..)
