He's a Star. I won't declare him a superstar until he hovers near 30 points a game average on a consistent basis and leads his team deep into the playoffs.

this is pretty sad that the poll is even close.........

    Seriously!
The guys the cornerstone of the franchise, plenty of stats...
If this is how people want to classify players then CP3 isn't a superstar either.
2 words for all the haters 'Team Jordan'!!!

I said CP3 is on track to be a superstar and should be considered one. He does everything, score, rebound, assist, and defend. Melo has two years on him in the NBA and hasn't learn very good "D" yet also. I also said that I think melo is becoming a superstar, just not yet.

Yeah that may be true but the test I have for a superstar is taking over a game. Kobe- can take over the game at will offensively. KG- has proven to take over a game with "D". LBJ has shown he can do that with his conference series against the Pistons and he does everything, pass, shot, rebound, and defend. CP3 is not on the level of these guys yet, but he does everything also. D Howard is an offensive beast, but this year he has shown to be a defensvie stopper. I do not think of Melo at all in that way. He has shown to be a offensive player, but I can not think of a game where he just took over the game. Maybe I just haven't seen enough of his games though.

Who does CP3 have though? He elevates the game of those around him, and that's what puts him on the level with those guys.

Back on topic, I voted yes. I believe that had Melo been in the East he would've at least been to the conference finals. That's enough in my book to qualify you as a superstar.

Please note what I said about CP3. I believe he is on track to be a superstar and should be consdiered one. Melo is finally starting to do everything this year. He is starting to play all aspects of the game like Paul. Like I have said before, it is my thoughts, believe it or not. Your choice.

I voted yes because he is just as good as many other super stars in the league.

Absolutely he is. The only reason people will say he isn't is because he isn't doing the things that LeBron and Wade are doing.

    and bosh :)
    they always leave him out..
