i've also heard white comedians say the n word and it was hilarious...if the joke is funny, people are going to laugh

I've heard a lot of comedians say the "n word". And yes it is funny. But I've never heard anyone other than a black person say it. Which to me, is understandable, and I dont think anyone should say it. Not even a black person (IMO).

I've also heard black people use racial slurs against whie poeople. Such as "honkey". And its always funny, but why cant I say racial slur against a black person? I cant stand Carlos Mencia, but the only thing I like about him, is that he makes fun of EVERY race, but makes fun of his own the most. He's good about that.

Ill say it. Per person, there are more hate groups in the south.

HAHA! The two biggest racists I know are from New York and South Carolins respictivly(sp). Al Sharpton is from New York, and Jesse Jackson is from South Carolina.

I love when people from up north try to say that people from down here are racist just because of what happened over 150 years ago. Funny, I love it.

first off the only reason you have historically black colleges is because black people have only been able to attend ""white public universities"" such as the university of AL for only 50 years now at the most. Many whites don't know this but they are just as welcome to attend any black college on a full schorlarship just as any other race. the key word here is historically black, if there were a group of people out there trying to keep you oppressed and ignorant wouldnt you make your own school? oh yeah those so called "black fraternaties" do accept all colors i have seen plenty of whites in "black fraternaties" People talk about the few million dollars that go toward college funds but they dont even want to speak about the fleecing of billions being mismanaged around the world...... its our tax payers dollars!!!!

secondly i have been in the military for 12 years and i see more racist crap between both races equally. you just have to look at the way white soldiers convey thier message.

I'm tired of the discussion of ethnicity and sports. ESPN is always doing specials about african-american coaches or players and the lack of recognition for these people. I think it was 2 years ago that ESPN did a special on minorities and sports. The reason minoirities exist is because we still recognize it. I'm not saying racism or speration of ethinicites only exist because of this, I've witnessed racist acts in todays day and age first hand, but the only way for it to become extinct is to not recognize the differences. Not only with sports, but there are all-black colleges, frats, scholarships; and this is perfectly acceptable. What if there were all "white" insitiutions like this, would that be "racist", a seperation of ethnicities? So why is it ok one way, but not the other?

I might be taking a giant leap here and **** some people off, but oh well...
I'm in the military and I don't think there is a bigger mixed population than this. And honestly, the most racist acts that I have encountered are African Americans towards caucasions. I won't get into specifics, but it's staggering in correlation to racism of caucasions to african americans.

He isn't trying to say everyone in the south is racist nor is he trying to say it is because of slavery. Instead of taking personal offense to it merely because you live in the area, read his statistics and either accept them or explain why you disagree with the statistics

the big difference is when the nazi's show up white people attack and run them off(see ww2),black/latino people do nothing to combat thier hate groups

But there is a double standard. You are allowed to have black groups and latino groups, but not a white group. The only white group around is the KKK, and it is racist. But if I wanted to start a white person only college fund, or a white club, I'd be called racist. Is that not true?
