That Jimmy Hoffa thing is crazy. We all know he was killed but where is the body?

Wow, disappeared and never seen again...creepy.

Yeah, pretty odd situation. The guy was officially announced as dead back in 1982.

Yeah, who knows what happened. The guy was essentially a mob boss of his own. I mean, served time for jury bribery and tampering. His legacy lives on through his son who's the president of the Teamsters now.

Nobody knows. He disappeared and no body or remains or weapons were ever found. There are several people who have claimed to have murdered him in certain places, but FBI investigations have never found anything. If you search "Jimmy Hoffa" on wikipedia you can read out about his controversial disappearance. Several mob bosses and hit men have claimed to killed him.

The most interesting to me consists of a group who CLAIMS to have shot and killed him, dismembered his body, kept it in a basement freezer for a while, then places it in an oil drum and buried it under Giants stadium. However, no one knows if this is truth or not.

July 31, 30 BC - The Battle of Alexandria (Mark Antony's Downfall)

The Second Triumvirate, consisting of Mark Antony, Octavian, and Marcus Lepidus, was formed shortly after the assassination of Julius Caesar and was meant to bring peace and stability to a torn Roman empire. Unfortunately, it did the opposite. The Triumvirate broke up in 33 BC, as a bitter disagreement between Mark Antony and Octavian led to a deadly civil war. Antony was defeated by Octavian at the naval Battle of Actium, and then in the land battle at Alexandria. Antony, instead of accepting defeat, commits suicide and his lover, Cleopatra, killed herself shortly thereafter.

    Other significant events...
July 31, 781 - The oldest recorded eruption of Mt. Fuji.
July 31, 1498 - Christopher Columbus discovers Trinidad.
July 31, 1954 - First successful ascent of K2, by an Italian expedition.

    Thanks for tuning in!
