Attended the Detroit Pistons vs. Chicago Bulls game at the Palace of Auburn Hills today. Decided to graph the Bulls during the pregame shoot around. Got the following to sign as they headed to the lockeroom after shoot around:
Taj Gibson - 1/1 trading card
assistant coach Bernie Bickerstaff - 1/1 trading card
James Johnson - 1/1 trading card
Flip Murray - 1/1 trading card
Devin Brown - 1/1 trading card
Hakim Warwick - 1/1 trading card
Acie Law - 1/1 trading card
Missed out on Brad Miller and Kirk Hinrich, as they signed before I arrived there. Majorly missed out on Derrick Rose as he proceeded to sign for the folks on the other side of the tunnel as he made his way to the back. Jannero Pargo and Chris Richards signed, but I didn't have anything for them. Lindsey Hunter signed for maybe 3 people before rushing with Joakim Noah to the back. Head Coach Vinny Del Negro just waved to the crowd as he exited the court. Joe Alexander ran to the back without signing. And Luol Deng didn't make the trip due to injury.Last edited by tboculosis; 10-02-2010 at 05:03 PM.

Met Detroit Pistons' rookie forward, DaJuan Summers, at an appearance he was doing as a guest on a local sportstalk radio show broadcasting from CJ Mahoney's sports grille out in Troy, MI today. Got DaJuan to sign a couple of cards for me. Also spotted Jonas Jerebko waiting to pick up his Escalade from valet, when I went to kill some time at the Somerset Collection mall a couple of hours earlier. Didn't have anything ready for him to sign, so decided not to bother him and just drove past him en route to finding a parking spot.

Drove up to the Meijer store out in Auburn Hills, MI after work today, where Detroit Pistons' point guard Rodney Stuckey was making an appearance. Got Rodney to sign my 8 x 10 photo and a Meijer promo photo for my brother. Asked Rodney if he could include the inscription of "Hot Rod" on them, which he gladly did. Jonas Jerebko was also signing at the nearby Belle Tire store prior to the Stuckey signing, but didn't go get him, otherwise it would have been the 4th straight day that I saw him. LOL.

Graphed the Miami Heat at their hotel. Got the following to sign as they boarded the bus to the game:
Quentin Richardson - 1/1 trading card
Daequan Cook - 1/1 trading card
Carlos Arroyo - 1/1 trading card
Jermaine O'Neal 1/1 trading card
Dorell Wright - 1/1 trading card
Mario Chalmers signed, but I didn't get him. Jamaal Magloire and James Jones took a cab before I got there. Nobody needed Yahouba Diawara. Everybody else ignored requests.Last edited by tboculosis; 10-02-2010 at 05:03 PM.

After work today, drove out to the Verizon Wireless store out in Troy, MI where Detroit Red Wings' center Kris Draper was making an appearance. Got Kris to sign my photo.
Then immediately afterwards, drove up to the Palace of Auburn Hills for the Detroit Pistons vs. Phoenix Suns game. Got the following to sign during pregame shootaround:
Assistant coach Dan Majerle - 1/1 trading card
Leandro Barbosa - 1/1 trading card
Jared Dudley - 1/1 trading card
Got there early, but the regular sections for graphing the visitors were aready full, so I graphed from the side a little bit right of where the players would come off the court to sign from. Louis Amundsun, Earl Clark, Goran Dragic, and Taylor Griffin signed, but I didn't have anything for them to sign. Missed out on Jarron Collins, Channing Frye, and Assistant coach Bill Cartwright because of being a little bit out of reach from them. Majorly missed out on Grant Hill, Jason Richardson, and Amar'e Stoudemire, who all signed. Steve Nash signed for those on the other side while making his way to shootaround. Once he was finished shooting around, he ran back to the lockeroom without signing. I wandered off from the game in the 3rd quarter and saw former Piston Don Reid was signing in the Comcast Pavillion of the Palace, so got Don to sign one of the advertisement for an upcoming celebrity basketball game he would be involved in.Last edited by tboculosis; 10-02-2010 at 05:03 PM.
