WOW Rasheed actually signed at an charity event. Honestly, that has to be the first time that I have ever seen a Rasheed success outside of a public signing, and a Pistons season ticket holder event. I guess he is changing his ways. Anyhow seriously nice job with Rasheed!!!

On a sidenote: I use to be a Pistons season ticket holder from 2005-2009 and only gotten Rasheed four times in that four year span. 3 of the 4 times it was at the Pistons season ticket holder events. The public signing I got him at 3 years ago I just found out of the event the day of and was barely able to get up there for it. When it was all said and done, I was first in line for it and all that. I could go on with more Rasheed stories but I don't want to clutter your thread up here. If you want me to share them here plmk.

Out of curiosity, how many graphers were out at this event today???

Also did any of the NBA players do pics with???

Anyhow, sorry for the long post Tboculosis, but you got an NBA player (Rasheed Wallace) that on some NBA graphers' list is a top 10 worst signer as he was next to impossible to get on the road when he played...

I'm jealous...that's a great day! That Meijer promo looks great, as does the Rasheed...congrats!

Thanks. The piece would look alot nicer if it weren't for Rip's and Tayshaun's horrible scribbled graphs that I got at the games. But it's a PC item, so I'd take it and just glad that it's finally completed.

No problem, man. I thought he was just going to blow everyone off and walk off the field when he was done playing in the softball game, so I moved to the barricaded fence area close to where he was fielding and sure enough after the game ended, he came right over and signed for the crowd there before making his way back inside the diamond to sign some more. I'm really ecstatic to finally get Sheed at last. Yeah, outside of the season ticket holder events and that one public event that he did a few years back, he is terrible with signing. I've heard the numerous horror stories with him just plain ignoring people at the hotels, after the game, as well as when he's out in public. Plus, he hasn't had a certified issued autograph from any of the card companies in a while too.

I'm guesstimating perhaps less than 70 graphers there with your usually dealers and sellers. Jalen Rose, Charlie Bell, Rick Mahorn, Jonas Jerebko, Charlie V, Tayshaun, and Big Ben all did photos with fans after the game.

WOW on Tayshaun taking pics with people. I have tried numerous times over the time span I was up there (2005-2009) at public signings for a pic with but was always told no by someone that ran the signing. I did get it once though and that was via the Pistons season ticket holder event.

That is nice on Charlie V taking pics with as I was going to ask him when they were down here in Charlotte last season but he signed so fast that he was on the bus by the time I was going to ask.

I know a couple graphers in Charlotte last season that asked Tayshaun and Big Ben for pics with and Tayshaun ignored but Pistons security told them that Big Ben wasn't going to do pics with anyone. At least they both signed.

I did get a pic with Big Ben once when he was with the Cavs but he told me he would only do it while signing autographs and I got one that way with him.

It is interesting to see how some of their habits have changed over the years when it comes to offseason events that take place in the summer...

Detroit Tigers' catcher Alex Avila and pitcher Max Scherzer made an appearance to benefit the Tigers' "Gloves For Kids" charity cause at the ABC Warehouse store out in Centerline, MI today. Made a monetary donation and got both of them to sign the stores' provided promo photos. A little afterward, drove out to the Fanatic U store out in Southfield, MI to where former MLB player Darrell Evans was doing a paid signing. Paid the fee and got Darrell to sign my ROMLB. I was in a little bit of a rush and forgotten to ask Darrell to add the inscription of "'84 World Series Champs" on it, which I'll probably get it done the next time around.

Nope, still not signing any outside items. That's with any current Tigers players making any free signing appearances, stating that's due to MLB regulations B.S. But it's for my PC, so I could care less. An autograph is an autograph to me.

Never thought I'd be graphing at work, but did so for the first time today. I work in the sales department for a manufacturing and distributing company. One of our sales personnel is former NFL kicker Eddie Murray. Today, towards the end of my hour lunch, I stopped by Eddie's cubicle and asked if he could sign some stuff for me. Got Eddie to sign my 2 trading cards and my 8 x 10 photo with the inscriptions of "2 x Pro Bowl", "4 x All-Pro" and "Super Bowl XXVIII" on it. Always seen Eddie around and we had small conversations here and there, plus he showed off his Super Bowl ring to me before, but today was the first time that I asked for his autograph. Pretty cool.
