Name one good team he was on until last year. Just one and I will concede you the point. He literally carried a sub .500 team (probably a top 5 lottery pick team) into the finals. No other player (outside of Iverson) has done that. Jordan didnt do it, Bird, Magic, Kareem, etc. No one has ever done that.

Lebron averaged 25/8/8 during the 2007 playoffs. Lead his team to a finals appearance with a team full of bench players and 5th man rotation players.
Eric Snow, Larry Highes, Big Z, Donyell Marshall, Drew Gooden, Verejao, Boobie GIbson, Pavlovic, Pollard, etc.
Seriously, you say he has never done anything in the playoffs, I submit this as him doing something only one other player in NBA history has done in the playoffs.

True, I completely agree that it is impossible to change other people's minds.
But as you said, you appreciate what Lebron brings to the game and his true talent, but for me, I don't appreciate him because He FAILS to brings his talent in the playoffs when it matters the most. And that's my reason for saying he is wasting his talent, or has been that way the last 10 years.
Also everyone has their own reasons for hating him and it's hard to change that.
But I completely understand Cavs fans who hate him because of all the drama he created with his Decision.
Lebron meant so much to the whole city and their feeling of devastation is probably unmatched.

Reaching? I'm still yet to hear rebuttles to my reaons aside from "You all hate LeBron and he's the best!"
I'm not sure where you're getting the idea that he's unquestionably the best, either. Durant and his scoring titles, Dwight and his dominance, Rose and his MVP's, and Wade and his greatness all would like to argue. You can make an argument for any of them. To top it off, Kobe > LeBron over the last decade.
And your argument for Wade being better than Wade is that we're crazy? Lol.
And it's not a couple games...it's anytime he's called upon in the clutch. He's let his whole team down and quit on them so many times that I've lost count. He's not a clutch player. To be the best, or even one of the best, you've got to be clutch. Simply put, LeBron's as un-clutch as they come. If he wins championships, he ran away to do them...there's no respect in that.
I gave you a number of reasons to hate LeBron, not sure what else you want from me.
Remember that at that point, Ilgauskas, Gooden, Hughes, etc. were all still quality NBA players. In the playoffs that year, Boobie Gibson played some of the best, most clutch basketball in his life. Thar argument is a moot point...

The fact you think those guys were good players makes your argument all the better.. lol
how many all stars between them? Better yet hall of camera like everyone else has had.
So durant can score. Howard can play d. Lebron can do everything and at the highest level possible. Everything durant lacks lebron excells in. Lebrons only downfall is his jumper. Make whatever excuses you want about being clutch but the fact is lebron is the beat premiered defender ever. Magic Johnson has been quited as saying he is the best ever. Lebron is the best passing forward ever. He will go down as a top 10 or 15 passer regardless of position. He is a dominant scorer and will end his career near the most points ever.
Just accept he is one of the greatest players you will ever are in your lifetime and admit that you dislike him because you can't find any major faults.
The rest if what you said makes me laugh too much to even respond to. Wade better then lebron? Lol! Once again the greatest season EVER. And people still want to nitpick. Just shows how unrealistic people are.
Going back to your.. he ran to get a championship. You have your excuse already in hand for when he proves you wrong about being "un clutch". So there is no use in once again bringing up the fact he has never played with a good team and led arguably the worst team in NBA finals history.

LBJ is great but unless your name is either Oscar Robertson or Wilt Chamberlain then you have not had arguable the best or even one of the season of all time as they pretty much own the top 15 between them.

LeBron is the best perimeter defender ever? I disagree...he's a great defender, but I wouldn't call him that. Quite frankly, I don't care what Magic Johnson had to say. He never played against him.
Everything Durant lacks, Lebron excels in, and LeBron has had the greatest season ever? Well, KD outscored LeBron, outrebounded LeBron, led his team to more wins than LeBron, and averaged a similar amount of blocks and steals, as well as turnovers per game. LeBron holds the lead in assists. So I will never understand why people think LeBron is the clear-cut MVP and had the best season ever. MJ has a number of better seasons, regardless.
I'm not going to argue that LeBron isn't a great player and could very well go down as an all-time great...he's one helluva basketball player. He is the most talented player in the league, but he doesn't turn that talent into the best basketball player. Wade beats him there.
I don't need an excuse for IF he wins a championship...simply put, he took the cowardly way out and ran away to try and win. And he needs to be clutch for more than one game or series to lose the title of "un-clutch." Winning one title ain't gonna do it.
Never played on a good team? He hand-picked those teams in Cleveland and everyone knows it. Those teams weren't nearly as horrible as everyone makes them out to be; that's just an excuse for any LeBron Lover. He ran away from Cleveland because he was about as good at picking talent as Jordan has shown to be.

Soooo many typos up there. I hate posting on my phone.
Anyway it comes down to this.
You can hate the guy off the court for whatever reason. If you hate his on the court then you are just blindly hating.

So now we don't care what former NBA players and hall of famers say. We don't care what NBA experts say... everyone is wrong and you are right.
Once again... lol

If everyone loved Lebron, you guys wouldn't know what to do with your time.
True or False?
Why do people care so much? Opinions and feelings can differ.Last edited by cgb_orl; 05-02-2012 at 04:21 PM.
