So, now I have a little follow up and another question. After I filed my claim, the seller contacted me and said "he forgot to send it and was away on vacation." He asked me to drop the claim and he would send the item. I politely said "no", and to send the item and I would drop the claim when it arrived. I advised him TWICE to contact paypal to let them know he had shipped. Well, today I got my refund because this guy obviously never contacted them back. So...if he did in fact send the item like he said he did, how do I get the money back to him?

If, in the end, you do receive the item, just re-send the original amount back to his account.

Hi, ebay made this decision:
This case was decided in the buyer's favour. You won't have to reimburse your buyer for this transaction.
Does it mean ebay refunded the buyer on my behalf or what?

Take a look at your Paypal account and find out.

I was wondering if there was a compiled list of eBayers to stay away from, scammers and non-payers. I know a lot of them must be defunct by now, if their scam was exposed they have a different account by now.
I apologize if this information is somewhere and I overlooked it! If there isn't a list I will go through the last 6-12 months of this thread and make my own list.
Thanks,Master List: Hidden Content

Just a heads up to everyone...I know we like to keep track of lousy buyers, but seller samuelt1533 is one to avoid. I'm the third person in the last 30 days he has decided not to ship to. Standard excuses as well..."I forgot...I was on a lengthy trip."

My lastest frustrations! I asked a seller if they would email me the redemption code if I won their auction. They replied that they would. I won the auction, and requested an invoice without shipping:
Can you send me an invoice without shipping charges and I will pay right away. Then email me the code when you have time. Thanks so much!
Got this reply:
I will send you an invoice but I don't ship directly to Canada. Your items have to go thru ebay global shipping program.
What the heck??
I sent this back:
But you are emailing me a code. There is no shipping involved
Am I missing something? Is my request, that they agreed upon, to hard to understand?

That Global Shipping Program has caused nothing but problems for people since its inception.

Yes it has Richard. I don't buy from people who are taking part in the "program". But this seller said he had no issue emailing the code, so I went ahead and bid on the card. Now I get this grief :(
