Detroit Lions' defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh did an appearance for a paid signing at the Detroit City Sports store at the Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi, MI. Paid the signing fee and got Ndamukong to sign my jersey along with the inscription of "2010 NFL Defensive ROY", thought about getting him to add a "Get the cart" inscription at first, but didn't.

Immediately afterward, drove out to the Royal Oak Music Theater in Royal Oak, MI to meet up with my girlfriend for the Evanescence w/ The Pretty Reckless concert there. Went for Evanescence after the show, since I didn't have anything for The Pretty Reckless. With a crowd of 30-40 people there by the bus, waited for almost 45 minutes before the 1st member of the band came out. Lead frontwoman Amy Lee just signed down the line for everyone, but no photos with. Guitarist Terry Balsamo, bassist Tim McCord, and guitarist Troy McLawhorn signed and did photo opts. Drummer Will Hunt rushed to board the bus, but did sign for a handful of people. Ended up getting my 11 x 14 photo signed by the entire band and my girlfriend got her CD booklet from their new self-titled album signed by the band as well.

Attended Pop/R&B singer JoJo's unplugged performance at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Detroit, benefiting the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, with my brother and cousin tonight. Made a monetary donation which allows access to a meet and greet after the show, along with a copy of her new single. Got JoJo to sign the back of the CD single cover, sign my 8 1/2 x 11 photo, plus a got a photo with her.

Attended the local sports talk radio show, "Lions' Review", hosted by the radio voice of the Detroit Lions, Dan Miller, at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Detroit tonight. Guests on the show was Lions' head coach Jim Schwartz and defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch. Got Coach Schwartz to sign my 5 x 7 photo (he even added "Go Lions" and the year without asking) and Kyle to sign my trading card.

Afterward, drove out to the Star Lanes at the Emagine Theater in Royal Oak, MI to where Lions' safety Louis Delmas and Pistons' forward Charlie Villanueva were co-hosting their "Bowling Spook-Tacular" event to benefit their respected charities. Got Charlie to sign all 3 trading cards that I brought, plus got a picture with. Got Louis to sign the cover to my 2011 Lions Pet calendar and my 8 x 10 photo of him, Chris Houston, and Ndamukong Suh celebrating Suh's 1st NFL interception (already signed by Chris). Linebacker Stephen Tulloch was in attendance, so got Stephen to sign my mini-football and asked if he would include the inscription of "Go Lions" on it, which he did. There were other NFL players from other teams there, which I couldn't identify. Suh's sister was also in attendance, but no sign of Suh, probably because he's heading to New York tomorrow to meet with the commissioner.

Thanks. It's something to keep me occupied, graphing-wise, seeing that there may not be a NBA season and all the great graphing opportunities that goes along with it.

Hit up the Detroit Lions at their hotel tonight. As I arrived there and walked across the front of the hotel, saw "Megatron" unloading his stuff from his car, of course, he didn't sign for the crowd, but just waved. Got the following players to sign for me as I waited outside:

wide receiver/special teams Maurice Stovall - 1/1 trading card

linebacker Justin Durant - 1/1 trading card

safety Louis Delmas - 1/1 trading card (cool as always)

running back Kevin Smith - 1/1 trading card

    Missed out on the following:

cornerback Chris Houston - 0/1 trading card (told everybody he'll be right back, but we know how that one goes)

quarterback Shaun Hill - 0/1 trading card (didn't sign, just waved)

wide receiver Titus Young - 0/1 trading card (signed, but I just happened to miss him)

defensive end Lawrence Jackson - 0/1 trading card (signed, but I didn't recognize him)

linebacker Bobby Carpenter - 0/1 trading card (ignored)

quarterback Drew Stanton - 0/1 trading card (ignored)

defensive tackle Nick Fairley - 0/1 trading card (ignored)

linebacker Stephen Tulloch - 0/1 trading card (just waved)

Players that signed, but I didn't need were DT Sammie Hill, LB Ashlee Palmer, DE Cliff Avril, T Gosder Cherilus, DE Willie Young, and head coach Jim Schwartz. Everybody else either I didn't see, ignored, or didn't need.

Ran into a buddy, him and his fiance were inside the bar, so decided to go kill some time hanging out there. A couple hours later, saw some of the players come out from their team meeting. Helped my buddy get his football signed by safety Louis Delmas and tight end Brandon Pettigrew. Ran into Stephen Tulloch, but just shook his hand. Saw Ndamukong Suh leave the restaurant inside the hotel heading towards the elevators, but he told everybody he wasn't signing. Only got wide receiver Nate Burleson after he checked out his keys with the valet.
